Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) was established by Late Shri. Shankarrao B. Patil in the year 1990 with a vision to provide value added educational platform to society in multiple dimensions right from Nursery to Doctoral programs in all professional streams enabling all our students to achieve Freedom through Education.

PCET has seven institutes Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic (PCP), Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), S.B. Patil Institute of Management (SBPIM), S.B. Patil Public School (SBPPS), Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research (PCCoER), S B Patil College of Science and Commerce, Ravet (SBPCSC) and S B Patil College of Architecture and Design (SBPCAD).
Currently PCCoE is one of the best engineering colleges in Pune. PCP, PCCoE and SBPIM are operational in Pradhikaran, Nigdi, in more than 10 Acres of land and having more than 4500 students on board. SBPCAD is also situated in the same campus from the academic year 2014-15. The complete campus is well equipped with all latest infrastructural facilities, Sports facilities, spacious lawn and hostel facility for boys and girls. SBPPS established at Ravet, Pune, from academic year 2012-13. PCCoER and SBPCSC also established at Ravet from academic year 2014 - 15.

i-MACE 23 aims to create an 2nd international conglomeration of researchers, academicians and industrial experts. This forum serves as a platform where people can share information about diverse technological advancements, innovations, and achievements in the areas of Mechanical and Civil engineering. Further, it would also facilitate discussion that centers on the developments, challenges and solutions for sustainable development in the field of machine design, manufacturing, thermal and fluid engineering, automation, hydrology, water management, structural engineering, geotechnical, transportation, biomimic and construction management.
The focus of this conference is to provide a technical platform that encourages scientific research and educational activities that would cater to the needs of both society and the industry. Most importantly, i-MACE-22 is invested in the advancement of a common man’s life by utilizing the innovations and practices of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The conference includes keynote addresses and guest lectures by eminent speakers around the globe.
Mr. Anil M Datar , Ex-Director General (ACE) in Defence R&D Organization (DRDO) on 31st Oct 2015. He was responsible for 10 DRDO labs engaged in weapon systems development and related fields, including Armaments, Combat Engineering structures, and equipment. Before this, He worked as Ex. Director, Armament R&D Establishment (ARDE), Pune for 5 years from Feb 2009 to March 2014. He held the Dr. B D Nagchaudhary DRDO chair as Advisor for Armament systems after his retirement till March 2017. He completed graduation in Mechanical from Govt. College of engineering, Pune (COEP), DBM and MBA from IMDR, University of Pune. On DRDO deputation, He completed M Sc (Engg) in Gun Systems Design from Royal Military College of Science (RMCS), Cranfield University, UK, where he secured first rank with distinction and won the prestigious ROF trophy.
A significant highlight of his carrier is INSAS 5.56mm development, wherein he was involved from the concept stage to the establishment of mass manufacture. He initiated projects to develop Carbines, Multicalibre Weapons, UBGL and other Small Arms related products, including the Soldier as a System concept. The other achievements have been trouble shooting of PINAKA MBRS and establishment of its production, especially at Ordnance Factories. He has personal contributions to the development of Armament system ICV, Arjun MBT ammunition, New Family of Munitions etc. He had initiated an indigenous development programme for 155*52 calibres Artillery Gun (ATAGS) have been accepted by Army. Thus getting inducted in Indian Army. He worked as a Technical Adviser (Defence) for High Commission of India, London in 2003 till 2006. He worked for the Defence R&D and S&T responsibilities at the High Commission. For DRDO interactions, He was involved with European Defence sector. He also acted as the central agency for establishing Indo-UK cooperation in S&T and effectively coordinated the associated programmes for DST, Govt. of India.
He received many awards during his carrier such as Scientist of the Year’ in 1998 for efforts on design, development of 5.56mm INSAS at hands of Shri A B Vajpayee, Hon. PM India, Technology Transfer Award for INSAS ToT, Performance Excellence Award for Pinaka ToT in 2013.at hands of Hon Defence Minister Shri AK Anthony, Technology Leadership award in 2015 for achievements and excellent contribution for Armament Technologies at hands of Hon Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar, Pune ki Asha in 1998 and Veer Savarkar Vigyan Puraskar in 2012. He is Life Member/ Fellow of many professional bodies like Institute of Engineers, High Energy Materials Society of India (HEMSI), Maharashtra Academy of Sciences, Institution of Mech. Engineers (I). He was President of Aeronautical Society of India, Pune Chapter. And National President of Indian National Society for Aerospace and Related Mechanisms (INSARM).
Dr. Suresh Gosavi has been working as a Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) since 2019. He worked as VC for Swami Ramanand Tirth Marathwada University Nanded (2014-2019). He is currently an Academic Council member for SPPU, VIIT Pune, MIT Academy of Engineering Pune, and also worked for College of Engineering, COEP-Pune and G.H. Raisoni College of Engg. & Management, Pune for the year 2019-2021. He is a Research and recognition member of the various department of SPPU (Instrumentation Sci., Physics, Environmental Sci) and the Department of Physica, Goa University. He worked as a Board of Studies for SPPU.
Dr. Gosavi completed his M.Sc. from the Department of Electronic-Science, University of Pune-07, INDIA in Electronic-Science field in 1990, Ph.D. from the Department of Electronic-Science, University of Pune-07, INDIA in Electronic-Science field in 1996 and Post-Doc. Fellow from Department of Elect. and Comp. Engineering, Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology, Portland, OR, USA. In Technology Development in 2000. He have 8 National or International Patents, 214 International/National Journals Papers, 56 International/National Conferences/Workshop and one Book publication. He has more than 6348 citations with 39 h-index and 128 i10-index.
Dr. Gosavi is Certified Laboratory Auditor: ISO/IEC 17025:2005, Certified Laboratory Competence: ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and Laboratory Management and Internal Auditor NABL Accredited Regional Test Centre, SES, UoP. He also contributed as a Guest Editor for Elsevier Material Science and Engineering B Advanced Functional Solid–State Materials, Special Issue and “Science and Technologies of Specialty Advanced Materials and Polymers for Aerospace and Defence and Applications: Vol.168 Nos. 1-3, 15 April, 2010. ISSN 0921-5107. He is also contributing as a Co-Guest Editor for American Scientific Publisher “Science of Advanced Materials” A Special issue on “Nano-Bio-Materials and Systems”, Vol. 4, 1-3, 2012. He received more than Rs. 4907 lakh grant for different projects from different organization of India.
